  1. Combine the shredded cabbage and carrots in a large bowl.
  2. Whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, onion, sugar, vinegar, mustard, celery salt, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl, and then add to the cabbage mixture.
  3. Mix well to combine and taste for seasoning; add more salt, pepper, or sugar if desired.

I made this for 25 with a small head of cabbage and had loads left so half a head of cabbage is sufficient.  The recipe says use green cabbage or savoy but I used white.  I set the Kenwood to its finest shredder.  The taste is really very creamy and quite different to the usual shop bought cole slaw.  Once made you will never buy another tub.
