3 | Parsnips peeled and cut into chunks | |
4 | Carrots, peeled and cut into chunks | |
50g | Butter | |
salt and black pepper |
Method
Boil the parsnips and carrots in boiling water until tender. This will take around 15 minutes. Drain well.
Using a potato masher, mash the boiled parsnips and carrots with a little butter, salt and pepper to taste.
Serve immediately.
