Mushrooms for Breakfast

 Ingredients

  • Paris Blanc Mushrooms
  • Butter
  • Cream

Method

  1. Again there are several ways of producing breakfast Mushrooms.  My preference is to fry them slowly on a low heat with a lid on.  This is almost steaming them.  Then when most of the liquid has gone put in the juice of a lemon, leave the lid off and slowly caramalise them.  This produces a sweet lemony mushroom.  The best mushrooms to use for this are small button mushrooms.
  2. Sometimes I remove the stalk and fry the whole mushrooms on a skillet.
  3. Another way is to slice the mushrooms, fry them and then add cream.
