beefburgers mothers

Ingredients
raw minced beef ½ kg  
fresh white breadcrumbs 50g  
milk 90ml  
1 small onion finely chopped
parsley finely chopped 2 tsp  
made English Mustard ½ tsp  
dash of Worcester Sauce
salt and freshly ground black pepper
butter or corn oil for frying

Method

Combine all the ingredients together, except the fat for frying, and mix thoroughly. Using floured hands, divide the mixture into 8 equal pieces and shape each into 1cm thick flat rounds.

To freeze: Place the hamburgers on a tray and open freeze. When frozen wrap each individually then pack together in a polythene bag. Seal and return to the freezer.

To serve: Heat the butter or oil in a shallow frying pan and fry the frozen hamburgers in the hot fat for 6-8 minutes on each side. Alternatively grill under a hot grill for 8 or 9 minutes on each side.
