Directions
This recipe appeared on a leaflet given out at the 6th Fete de la soupe on 25th November 2011 in La Gacilly In poorer times when Brittany was populated mainly by peasant farmers parnsips were regarded as survival food and therefore only eaten by the poor. Until the Brits came to France Parnips were not a popular food but now they are available in large supermarkets, often imported from the UK. |
