Method
- Put the oatmeal, salt and baking soda into a bowl.
- Make a well in the centre and pour in the melted butter or oil.
- Make a stiff paste with hot water.
- Knead and roll out as thinkly as possible.
- Cut into triangles and bake them on a griddle or in a moderately hot oven - 200 C until the ends curl up and the cakes are crisp. 20 -30 minutes.
