Kenwood Vanilla Ice ream

 

Ingredients

  • 120g unswalted butter
  • 240ml ful fat milk
  • 85 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

Method

  1. Place the butter, milk and sugar in a pan and warm slowly stirring until the butter has melted and the sugar disolved.
  2. Bring to the boil and immediately pour into the Cream Maker on Speed 3.
  3. Allow all the cream to pass through the Cream Maker into a bowl
  4. Stir in the vanilla essence.
  5. Pass through the Ice Cream Maker and then freeze.

 You can add fruit or flavouring and here are some examples:

  • 120g strawberries or raspberries
  • Orange, Lemon or lime.  Add the grated rind and 2 tbsp of fruit.
  • Coffee - 1tsp of coffee essence.
  • Chocolate 60g of broekn chocolate
  • Peppermint 3 drops of peppermint essence and a little green colouring.
  • Ginger 1/2 tsp of liquid ginger and 30g of chopped crystallised ginger.
