Method
- Place the butter, milk and sugar in a pan and warm slowly stirring until the butter has melted and the sugar disolved.
- Bring to the boil and immediately pour into the Cream Maker on Speed 3.
- Allow all the cream to pass through the Cream Maker into a bowl
- Stir in the vanilla essence.
- Pass through the Ice Cream Maker and then freeze.
You can add fruit or flavouring and here are some examples:
- 120g strawberries or raspberries
- Orange, Lemon or lime. Add the grated rind and 2 tbsp of fruit.
- Coffee - 1tsp of coffee essence.
- Chocolate 60g of broekn chocolate
- Peppermint 3 drops of peppermint essence and a little green colouring.
- Ginger 1/2 tsp of liquid ginger and 30g of chopped crystallised ginger.
