Ground Rice Pudding

 

 Ingredients

  • 50g ground rice
  • 600ml semi-skinned mild
  • 25g caster sugar
  • strawberry or raspberry jam

  Method

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 200C
  2. Heat the milk in a saucepan and sprinkle in the ground rice
  3. Heat until the mixture just comes to the boil and thickens.  Then simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the sugar.
  5. Pour into a gresed oven proof dish and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until browned
  6. Serve with dobs of jam.
