Ingredients

  • 225 g plain flour
  • 8 eggs
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 pint full fat milk

Method

  1. Put the milk, eggs, salt and flour in a liquidiser and spin until smooth
  2. Cover with cling film and place in the fridge over-night
  3. Do not stir.
  4. Head the oven to Gas mark 7 or 200C.
  5. Put a knob of dripping in a heavy bottom tray and heat until almost smoking
  6. pour a quantity of the mixture into the tray and bake until golden and crip round the edges

Best served with a strong onion gravy made with the bottoms of the meat.
