180 g | Self Raising Flour | |
1 tbsp | Black Treacle | |
3 tbsp | Golden Syrup | |
1 heaped tsp | Baking Powder | |
3 | Large Eggs | |
180 g | soft light brown sugar | |
180 g | softened butter | |
Method
Grease a pudding basin with butter and place in the 3 tbps of Golden Syrup.
In a mixing bowl place the sifted flour, baking powder, softened butter, eggs, sugar and black treacle. Mix until smooth.
Spoon the mixture onto the Treacle.
Cover with foil and steam in a pressure cooker for 6 minutes, pressure cook on low pressure for 10 minutes.
Remove from the pressure cooker and turn onto a plate.
Serve with custard.
