Oven Temperatures

 

The temperatures etc. are written in accordance with my mother's recipe book but can be confusing.  Here is a rough conversion.  However you should reduce the temperature in a fan assisted oven by about 10 degrees.   Good cooks know that all ovens are different so get to know your oven before cooking that vital meal.  Experiment a little.  Remember the temperature drops every time you open the oven door.
