spiced vinegar or pickling vinegar |
Method
Shread the cabbage. In a bowl layer the cabbage with a generous sprinkling of salt. Leave for 24 hours and drain but do not rinse.
Place in jars and cover with cold spiced vinegar. Leave at least two weeks and serve as part of a salad selection
