Method
- If you have a supply of Bramley Apples then peel and core then slow cook in a thick bottomed pan until soft. Add sugar to taste and continue to cook until golden.
- I always keep some Apple Sauce in the Freezer.
- Mix in the cinnamon, nutmeg and caramom and taste and Calvados to taste.
- Layer the bottom of the glass with natural yoghurt
- Carefully spoon on the apple mixture.
- Decorate with sliced almonds.
- Refrigerate for a couple of hours.
I made this for our monthly Indian Curry night. It was very much enjoyed after the heat of the curry.
