Nutty Flapjack

Ingredients 120 g Margarine
2 tbs Golden Syrup
120 g Sugar
60 g Porridge
60 g Self Raising Flour
90 g Crushed Cornflakes

Method

Heat the margarine, golden syrup and sugar in a pan.   Allow to cool a little and then add the porridge, self raising flour and crushed cornflakes.

Roll out to a quarter inch thick on a greased swiss roll tin.  Bake at 190 C, GM 5 for 20 minutes.

Another popular favourite with my father.  How he kept so thin I will never know.
