| 6 | Chicken Portions skinned or skinned Chicken Breasts | |
| 170 g | Mushrooms sliced | |
| 225 g | Onions finely chopped | |
| 1 tin | Campbells Mushroom Soup | |
| Half tin | Condensed Milk | |
| 60 g | Butter |
Method
Fry the onions in the butter until just golden. Brown the chicken in the remaining butter and add the mushrooms, soup and milk.
Cook for one hour at 160C
I have always known this as "Playgroup" Chicken. For me it got its name from almost the first social gathering I went to in my new home in Nottinghamshire. The Playgroup, of which my children were active members, were putting on a fund raising night and each Playgroup Member had to produce 6 portions of "Playgroup Chicken" and also sell at least 4 tickets to the do! This is really easy to do and my mother enjoyed it many times when she visited. It can be varied a little by adding chopped peppers and spices.
