Method
- Put the Oats into a pan
- Pour on 400 ml milk
- Add the pinch of salt
- Stir well and leave overnight
- In the morning place the pan on a moderate flame and stir from time to time to ensure the porridge doesn't stick and burn
- Add more milk if necessary.
- Serve with honey, golden syrup, fruit, clotted cream or simply sprinkle with sugar.
- My friend Rodney suggests sprinkling it well with Golden Castor Sugar and then take a Kitchen Torch and caramelize the sugar and hey presto Porridge Brulee.
