350 g | Self Raising Flour | |
230 g | Margarine - melted | |
115 g | Caster Sugar |
Method
Mix the ingredients together and then press into a greased swiss roll tin.
Prick with a fork and cook in a hot oven 190 C to 200 C for 20 mins.
Cut into pieces and allow to cool on a wire rack.
My mother soon gave up making these as I didn't like them. I preferred anything with chocolate in or on it. However, I have made them recently and enjoyed their plain taste. They are improved by using a good quality butter such as New Zealand Anchor.
